Dave’s Custom Wine Cellars Chicago Illinois

You’re looking at a photograph of Dave’s Custom Wine Cellars Chicago Illinois in a darkened room with the lighting turned on. As you can see in the wine cellar design, there is a wine barrel table top on a peninsula table. We have a high reveal display row with LED ribbon lighting above and a solid arch with a pop light. I’d like to take you on a tour of the wine cellar design drawings.

What you’re looking at here is the overhead or plan view of Dave’s Custom Wine Cellars Chicago Illinois. As you can see each elevation is designated by a letter: elevation A, the front wall, elevation B the three corner walls, elevation C the left, D the back wall and E the right wall.

There are a total of 1,064 bottles in this wine cellar. Dave had a little bit of a different design for his cellar; he has the bottom racks coming out further than the top custom wine racks with a 3-inch leap.

We will go to first of all elevation A, below the window. Here we have a champagne size of individual bottles on each side of case storage. We have individual case storage and solid case storage in between. There is a 1 1/2 inch toe-kick and base molding on the bottom. The table top is a cooperage wine table top.

Elevation B is the corners. Again you can see the wider bottom and the narrower top with the three-inch ledge.

Elevation C, this area in the center is where they built columns in between these racks. We have solid X-cubes on the bottom with an individual row on each side. The high reveal display row with the light valance to hide this LED ribbon lighting and the individual bottles above.

Custom Wine Racks Chicago Illinois – Dave’s Wine Cellar

Again you can see they’ve one 10-inch rack on the top and 13-inch custom wine racks on the bottom. All of these custom wine racks in Palos Heights Illinois are 92 1/2 inches high with a 2 1/4 inch crown molding going up an inch above the racks.

Elevation D is the back wall. Here we have case storage on each side. We have solid X-cubes above, individual bottle storage, glass racks, high reveal display row with light valance for the LED ribbon lighting and behind, which is hard to see on this drawing.

What we used is a wine barrel that Dave had himself, a French wine barrel; we’ve incorporated that into the design and behind the wine barrel there is enough room here. We were able to put case storage back behind as well.

Moving on to elevation E, we have more case storage going from floor to ceiling and a quarter-round in the end. These are solid case storage and solid quarter-round.

We’re going to the 3D wine cellar design Chicago Illinois drawing now. This is the overhead view. You can see where we did the three-inch leap, where his peninsula table top comes out, and the tabletop right below the window.

Wine Cellar Commercial Wine Racks for Wine Stores – Increasing Revenue .

Bistro de la Reine is a wine store that decided to use our services for their commercial wine racks. They decided to use both custom and kit racking for their wine store.
We have to rack all the way around the perimeter of the store, as well as a custom cash wrap. We also have commercial double reveal aisle kit wine racks in this area and up here and commercial aisle rounds.

Design – Commercial Wine Racks

Elevation A combines both combination kit and custom racking. You have kit racking in the one-column rows, as well as diamond cube lattice bins and rectangular lattice bins on the bottom. These have display shelves to display the bottles that are stored behind them.
Each of the racks, you’ll notice, has a 4-inch toe-kick and base molding. The shorter commercial wine racks that are the 77 5/8 high have a 2 3/4 inch crown molding.

Kit Wine Racks – Elevation B

We will go on to elevation B. Again, we are using kit wine racks and custom racking. Most of this is kit racking with two rows on each side and one in the center for split or dessert wines. Your 750s are in the center, a tabletop, and a glass rack.

Elevation D is custom shelving. It is a custom cabinet and adjustable shelf. We have cabinets down below with doors and adjustable shelves inside. This cabinet is 15″ deep.
Elevation D and elevation E are exactly the same except for the width of the cabinet. This goes behind the cash wrap in the room.

Commercial Double Aisle Reveal Kit Wine Racks

Elevation F is the commercial double aisle reveal kit wine racks. They have display rows on tops and bottles stored all the way down below. We then have the commercial aisle rounds, which are in the center of the room. This area is a custom area with lockers above and three magnum display rows down below.

This is a commercial retail stacker three-column that is along one of the walls. We have a commercial retail stacker five-column and a corner curved corner with a display rack that goes alongside the commercial stackers.
This wall has stackable case storage. The case storage has individual bottles in between. We have a two-column commercial stacker on the right, as well as shelving that is attached to the walls that can be moved around.

Commercial Wine Racks – Case Storage

This is your cash wrap. The backside of the cash wrap is shown with adjustable shelves on either side, a cabinet, and two drawers.
We have incorporated the use of real wine barrels, cutting them in half for the ends of the cash wrap and also right along the end of the front. Here we have a commercial retail stacker three-column.

Commercial Wine Cellar in 3D Design

You see your overhead view in 3D, the one side wall, the back of the cash wrap, and the cash wrap itself. We also used a reclaimed wine barrel tabletop on the cash wrap.
Here is the rest of the wine room in 3D, the lockers, and the magnums. I do want to get some photographs of the completed cellar, so I’m skipping through this as quickly as I can.

Mis en Bouteille au chateau / Domaine / a la propriete / Gutsabfüllung (estate bottled) means that the wine is bottled by the producers themselves and not by a different entity.
Vieilles Vignes (old vines) means that the wines used are harvested from the vineyard with old vines, usually more than 40 years old in existence. These old vines produce grapes with richer flavors but in lower quantities.

Bottling
Details on the bottling of the wine are crucial. Usually, good wines are those with grapes grown and harvested by a reputable vineyard and bottled by the same producers. Some vineyards have others bottle their produced wine and this must be indicated on the label.

Alcohol content
The alcohol content is the amount of alcohol contained in the wine. It also indicates the body and sweetness of the wine. Wines with an alcohol content of 14% and above are more full-bodied and tannic. Wines with an alcohol content of 11% or below are sweeter and lighter.
